Annual Report on Conservation and Science (ARCS)The Annual Report on Conservation and Science (ARCS) is AZA's conservation projects database that documents the wildlife conservation, research, and education work of its accredited zoos and aquariums. Data has been collected electronically since 2000, making the database a historical record of more than 5,000 diverse projects and programs with reaches on local and international scales. The ARCS database is being upgraded to better facilitate collaboration. The new and improved version of will allow members find projects that are seeking support and/or partnership. We Need Your InputTo ensure that the upgraded ARCS meets its potential, your needs, and all of our conservation goals, please review the proposed data set and share your comments and suggestions. Download the new ARCS data set (in Word). Make your comments on the document itself and send to by Friday, 12 December 2008. We will use this new data set to gather information about new projects and to supplement the project records already in the database. While preparing your comments and suggestions, please keep in mind that your colleagues will be asked to submit this information and we have to balance the amount of data we gather with the time and labor required to provide all of the project details.
